Just a very quick welcome to the blog.

 

I started off my tea career, once I'd finally settled on making a stab at it, with a little blog called ChaTea. Just sharing my thoughts and experiences of tea and doing reviews. It was the readership of that little blog that inspired me to take my tea passion further and turn it into a business. And so my first venture was born, Whittington's Tea Emporium (WTE). 

 

What with studying for my degree at the same time as setting up WTE, finding time to blog fell further and further down the list. Matters briefly improved once I was finished at SOAS but then the inevitable search for investment and funding consumed much of my time though I did enjoy a brief spate of blogging on WTE and working with some wonderful guest bloggers as well.

 

At Tea Studio I was always far to busy and consumed with the day to day running of the studio to sit down and blog. I'm the kind of person who needs to sit down and relax, pop on a candle and get into the zone before the words will flow.... and well, that just never happened!

 

Et violà!

 

Now with this new website, I'm thoroughly looking forward to sharing my now considerable experience of tea with you all as I continue my journey of exploration through the fields of camellia sinensis.
