TeaWithKyle 'chilled' salon edits

With this heatwave we've been having (and its forecast to last a few more weeks, hello summer!) I've constantly got a pot of cold brew tea going in the fridge or am shaking up an iced matcha - forget the 'matcha frappe' my take is super chilled, smooth, refreshing and healthy to the core. So, the long (tall chilled glass full of it) and short of it is I've dedicating July's Salon edits to the cold brew. Join me on a hot summers evening to chill out with tea.

As well as some fantastic cold brew teas, including sparkling Jasmine 'Champagne', we'll have a go at ice brew sencha. I'll make my iced matcha shake (which I'm sipping as a write this) and we'll discuss how to make your own, super easy, cold brew teas at home or in the office.

For the meditative Japanese Tea Ceremony portion of the evening I'll be performing a special temae (practice for preparing matcha) using a massive block of ice instead of a boiling kettle of water. I'm so excited, this is going to be super cool!

We'll enjoy a sweet with the Tea Ceremony and round off the evening with a simple bowl of chazuke (please let me know when booking if you are vegan/vegetarian or have a sesame allergy).

You're invited to bring something (a question, problem, tea etc) to discuss and engage in lively conversation like in the Parisienne Salon's of old.

NOTE: if you can't make it for 6pm, it's not a problem. We'll drink tea and chat while we wait for you.

Please graciously respect my private home. We have two gorgeous cats, Fish & Chips who will be around, but they're very friendly so don't worry. I kindly ask that shoes are removed when you arrived (so wear funky socks ;) )
