TeaWithKyle salon edits
The first salon edits will be on my theme for the month, Japan. A salon, just like the old days. TeaWithKyle salon edits is a monthly themed tea salon, held in my home. Tea, discussion, treats and tasting.
Time & Location
13 Sept 2017, 18:00 – 21:00
E14 0BQ, Poplar High St, Poplar, London E14 0BQ, UK
About The Event
The theme for this first edition of TeaWith Kyle salon edits follows my theme for the month: Japan. I'll be performing a Tea Ceremony temae in full Kimono. We'll taste some fresh samples of Japanese teas as well as supping on other (non Japanese teas if desired) from my collection.
The evening will start in the Living Room with the temae, then we'll move to the Library for a cosy sampling and a reading from 'Mistress Oriku' before finishing off in the Dining Nook for Chazuke (tea over rice).
You're invited to bring something to discuss and engage in lively conversation like in the Parisienne Salon's of old.
NOTE: if you can't make it for 6pm, it's not a problem. We'll do our best to wait for you.
Please graciously respect my private home. We have two gorgeous cats, Fish & Chips who will be around, but they're very friendly so don't worry. I kindly ask that shoes are removed when you arrived (so wear funky socks ;) )
Because this is in my private home, I will provide you with full address details once you have booked. Nearest stations are Blackwall DLR or All Saints DLR though it is also possible to walk from Canary Wharf.
