TeaWithKyle salon edits (at Laura's)

The theme for this second edition of TeaWith Kyle salon edits is drawn from the season and the drawing in of winter. Hygge, the Scandinavian concept of the sublime state of inner warmth or satisfaction when spending time with treasured people. Our venue host for this evening is Laura Willoughby, who, from living with a Finn, is exploring Hygge herself. Hygge and tea have much in common around the ideals of sharing time with people. Creating moments of warmth, companionship and friendship.

From the cozy warmth of Laura's apartment we'll enjoy night views over East London, the Olympic Park and Canary Wharf. All whilst sipping some lovely Puerh and Oolong teas to bring in that winter, cozy feeling. We'll enjoy a little Scandinavian treat along with our tea and chat. Laura will talk a little on Hygge and what it means for her and I'll be discussing the teas we try on the evening. We'll also enjoy using Laura's collection of yixing teapots.

You're invited to bring something to discuss and engage in lively conversation like in the Parisienne Salon's of old.

NOTE: if you can't make it for 7pm, it's not a problem, just let us know when to expect you.

Please graciously respect Laura's private home. We kindly ask that shoes are removed when you arrive (so wear funky socks ;) )
